PICOLiteTM, equipped with a single high power Royal Blue LED, provides an
optimal curing capability of 5mm curing depth in 5 seconds for most
composite materials. It outputs 1600mW/cm2 over the spectrum
between 455nm and 465nm.
Its unique high efficient LED high current control circuit provides up to
95% the conversion efficiency from battery electronics energy to the
curing light power without any heat build-ups, and allows constant light
power output to be maintained independent of battery capacity drop.
Its dark brown light guide tube delivers the light power at the minimum
energy loss by concentrating the light from the LED directly to the tip of
the light guide tube without any light diffusion.
The light guide tube can be easily detached from the handpiece for auto
clean to avoid contamination.
The metallic look handpiece housing is
made of aluminum-magnesium alloy and can sustains most of the solutions
used in dental clinics to prevent it from getting rusted. Its unique
